The Showroom Detail

starting at $549

Takes about 5.5 hours

The Showroom Detail is everything we do, in one visit. Outside, the paint is washed, clayed, machine polished and then locked in behind spray ceramic protection. Inside, every panel is deep cleaned by hand and the carpets and seats are shampooed.

Book this one when the car has never been properly detailed, when you are getting it ready to sell, or when you want it looking better than the day you bought it.

What's included

49 steps, start to finish.

Wheels, tires and wells first

  • Wheels cleaned on the face and inside the barrel, where brake dust actually hides
  • Brake dust dissolved with a dedicated wheel cleaner instead of scrubbed dry
  • Tires scrubbed back to a clean black, so old dressing does not sling onto fresh paint
  • Wheel wells cleaned and rinsed out

Safe hand wash

  • Pre-rinse to float off loose grit before anything touches the paint
  • Foam bath left to dwell and soften road film
  • Two-bucket hand wash with grit guards and a clean mitt, top down
  • Bugs and tar removed from the front end and rocker panels
  • Door shuts and fuel door cleaned, the spots most shops skip
  • Dried with plush microfiber towels, never left to air dry into water spots

Decontamination

  • Iron fallout remover applied, so embedded brake dust lifts out of the clear coat
  • Clay bar worked over every painted panel to pull out what washing cannot
  • Paint left glass smooth to the touch, which is what makes protection actually bond

One-step machine polish

  • Paint inspected under dedicated lighting, because swirls hide in daylight
  • A test section polished first to confirm the pad and polish work on your paint
  • Trim, badges and panel edges taped off before the machine touches anything
  • Every panel machine polished with a dual action polisher, the safe tool for this work
  • Swirl marks, light scratches and dull oxidation cut back so the paint reflects clean again
  • Panels wiped with a polish oil remover, so you see real gloss and not filler hiding defects

Protect and finish

  • Paint sealant applied by hand, panel by panel
  • Sealant leveled and buffed off for an even gloss
  • Exterior glass cleaned and treated
  • Exterior trim dressed so it does not look chalky next to fresh paint
  • Tires dressed to a satin finish, not a greasy shine
  • Final walk-around with you before we pack up

Spray ceramic protection

  • Spray ceramic laid over the polished paint, panel by panel
  • Each panel leveled and buffed so the finish is even with no streaking
  • Protection left to set before the car goes back to you

Strip out and vacuum

  • Your personal items bagged and set aside, nothing thrown away
  • Floor mats pulled and cleaned separately from the carpet
  • Carpets and seats vacuumed edge to edge, including under the seats and the seat rails
  • Trunk or cargo area vacuumed out
  • Compressed air through vents and seams to move grit you cannot reach with a nozzle
  • Light pet hair lifted with a rubber brush. Heavy coats need the pet hair add-on

Deep clean every surface

  • Spot stains treated and agitated by hand instead of just sprayed and wiped
  • Leather cleaned with a pH balanced cleaner and a soft brush
  • Leather conditioned, which is what slows the cracking you get from Florida sun
  • Dash, doors, console and trim cleaned with detail brushes down into the seams
  • Air vents, cup holder seams and tight cracks blown out and cleaned with an air tool
  • Cup holders and door pockets emptied and scrubbed out by hand
  • Seat belts wiped down and retracted clean

Glass, odor and finish

  • Interior glass cleaned streak free, including the rear view mirror
  • Door jambs wiped, so the car still looks clean when you open the door
  • Interior deodorized
  • UV protectant applied to the dash and trim, matte finish and never greasy
  • Final walk-around with you before we pack up

Seat and carpet shampoo

  • Carpets and cloth seats pre-treated with shampoo and worked in with a drill brush
  • Lifted dirt pulled back out with a wet vac instead of left to dry down in the fibers
  • Fabric left damp and not soaked, so it dries fast instead of turning musty

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from the Full Detail?

The Full Detail cleans and seals the paint. The Showroom Detail adds a machine polish to remove swirl marks, then spray ceramic on top, so the finish looks corrected and stays slick for months.

Is it cheaper than booking the pieces separately?

Yes, by a wide margin, and it takes one appointment instead of two.

How long does it take?

Plan for most of the day, about 5 to 6 hours. Larger vehicles or heavy soil can add time.
